A nice project that we were called to do up at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine back in May of 2025. Spent 3 days prepping this former SEPTA (southeastern PA Transit Authority) subway car that was moved from Philidelphia back around 2000 up to Maine on a very rudimentary dolly

Below is a former Green Mountain RR boxcar that was bound for the torch that I was able to convince a friend of mine that he needed it; and so, this is what became of it. Sitting in Milford, New Hampshire for many years, I relocated it to Belchertown, MA to the proud new owners of it at the Blue Caboose Station and Bruce and Kaye Bourgeois are enjoying it as another component of their unique place that restores antiques. It had to be laid over on its side due to height restrictions, then tarnsported about 75 miles to its current home where we up righted it and there she sits, proud once again.

Spent 3 days prepping this former SEPTA (southeastern PA Transit Authority) subway car that was moved from Philidelphia back around 2000 up to Maine on a very rudimentary dolly placed under it. We reworked it and added structure and support, changed all 8 dry rotted tires and fixed a broken spring, and ensured brakes and all systems were roadworthy before transport. It is destined for the RR Museum of NY in Kingston, NY. We are storing for them until they are ready for in at our yard in Vernon, VT as a courtesy.
